Sun ‘n fun
Lakeland, Florida, U.S.A. at the Lakeland Linder Regional Airport
Next fly-in: April 17-23, 2007
The first Sun ‘n Fun was held in 1974. It’s now an annual fly-in and airshow event that takes place every April. Sun ‘n Fun is one of the most popular fly-ins in the world and offers pilots the opportunity to arrive in their own aircraft. The primary goal of the event’s organizers is to promote aviation safety through education. The Sun ‘n Fun Air Show features hundreds of commercial aviation exhibits, daily shows, static aircraft displays, and more than 450 workshops and forums.
Sun ‘n Fun also offers attractions all year long, including the Florida Air Museum at Sun ‘n Fun, workshops, and lectures. For more information visit their website at http://www.sun-n-fun.org or call the airshow organizers at 863.644.2431 and tell them airplanes.com sent you!
