Everybody who is anybody in the Russian aviation industry will likely be making an appearance at the Jet Expo Moscow 2008. Though the Jet Expo is still a relatively new event – having been conceived in 2006 and held annually since then – it continues to set the standard in Russian international business aviation exhibitions.

As with most aviation exhibitions, the Moscow Jet Expo is brimming with every kind of aircraft imaginable. Static and aerial displays are combined to not only entertain, but provide prospective clients with an idea of the capabilities of the different aircraft. This year fans of aviation will find a wide variety of aircraft displayed statically. These include a Challenger 604, the AKT-001 “LENA”, an Airbus 319, a Piper Meridian “Turboprop”, a Falcon 900EX and a Falcon 2000EX, a TBM 700, Legacy 600, a P180 Avanti II and a Cessna Citation Ultra. Bombardier will be displaying a Learjet 60 XR, Challenger 300, Challenger 605 and Global 5000, while Cessna will show off their Citation XL, Citation Sovereign, Citation Mustang and Citation X. Gulfstream Aerospace will definitely be turning heads with the Gulfstream G 150, G200, G450 and IV, while the Hawker Beechcraft Corporation will use the event to show off their Hawker 4000, Hawker 750, Premier IA, Hawker 900 XP and King Air 350. Fans of helicopters will also have plenty to see, namely a AW109 Power, two Robinson-44’s, a Bell 407 and a Bell 430.

Since the focus of the event is mainly on business, there will be numerous conferences and briefs and a few aircraft presentations. However not everything is about business and a lot of interested persons or private pilots also attend. If this year proves to be as successful as last year, investors, manufacturers and organizers will have nothing to worry about; the 2007 Jet Expo saw some six thousand visitors attend the event. This year will likely be even better. The Jet Expo international business aviation exhibition will take place at the Crocus Expo center at pavilion 2, hall 7. Be there from September 17 to 19, 2008, to make sure that you don’t miss out on this massive aeronautical treat!
