Airshow China 2008

China is a big competitor in many different sectors of industry, but few westerners consider it when discussing aircrafts. Contrary to popular belief, however, China has quite a good aerospace industry. Airshow China provides some great insight into just how extensive that industry is.

Also known as the China International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition, Airshow China has the unique distinction of being the only international aerospace trade show endorsed by the Chinese central government to take place in the country. The show has been held every second year since 1996 and provides visitors with an excellent introduction to the aeronautics industry. During the show visitors can enjoy life-size displays of various products, technological information, trade talks and a dazzling flying display – the highlight of most air shows the world over. Airshow China is always held in Zhuhai, Guangdong, in China and this year will be no different. The 2008 edition of the show will no doubt prove to be especially interesting after the current developments made in the Chinese aerospace industry and the ‘Large Aircraft Project’ launch. While casual visitors will find that Airshow China is a great way to catch up on all the latest and greatest in the industry, businessmen will discover that the show provides them with some amazing business opportunities.

As is usually the case, a large number of aircraft manufacturers and representatives from different countries across the globe have already agreed to be a part of Airshow China 2008.
