India Aviation 2008
The India Aviation 2008 is an exciting event for the country, as well as the aviation industry in India. In recent years India has seen a growth in the aviation industry, with the two main airlines operating in the country, Air Sahara and Jet Airways, gaining competition with the introduction of various other airlines into the market, including Indigo, Air Deccan, Kingfisher Airlines and SpiceJet. With the increase of private airlines, the industry has opened up doors to give way to business ventures and opportunities in regard to maintenance and repair of aircrafts, aircraft manufacturing, development of infrastructures and various employment prospects in the airline service field.

Bombardier’s CRJ1000 Prototype Flies Successfully
Bombardier Aerospace recently announced that their CRJ1000 prototype enjoyed a successful inaugural flight. The CRJ1000 NextGen Jetliner took off from the Bombardier facility located in Mirabel, Quebec, for its first three hour, twenty-five minutes flight.
Saab Decides to Expand Aircraft Family
Swedish airplane contractor Saab has decided to expand its 2000 Special Mission family to include features which will not only help in matters of safety and security, but also assist in keeping our planet clean. The company has fitted out the basic airframe with new signals intelligence (SIGINT) and maritime patrol versions that will assist officials greatly in a number of different ways.
