A & E Flying Club, Los Angeles California
Located at Hawthorne Airport (HHR) in Los Angeles, California, the A & E Flying Club is a non-profit organization with fifty active members. It owns four airplanes: two Cessna 172Ms, one Cessna 182Q, and one Cessna 177RG. The planes can be rented for flight training but the certified flight instructor must be club-approved.
The A & E Flying Club meets the third Saturday of every month from 9am until all the maintenance work is completed. In addition to a non-refundable initial membership fee, members must also pay a refundable upon leaving in good standing fee, first month’s dues, and three hours of flying time. Members also pay rental fees.
