Al Mooney began Mooney Airplane Company in 1929. In 1953, they moved their operation from Wichita, Kansas to Kerrville, Texas. Mooney designs and manufactures high performance four-seat, single-engine, piston-powered aircraft. As of 2006, their production line consists of the M20 Bravo GX, the M20 Ovation2 GX, and the M20 Acclaim.
