Discover the airplane museums
There are many aircraft museums, spread over the world. Some of them showcase the earliest attempts of flying while other showcase the most modern machines. Many aircraft museums only showcase model aircrafts, which is built in scale to the real airplanes. A few of these famous aircraft museums include, The Fargo Air Museum and the Swedish Air Force Museum.
The Fargo Air Museum is an aviation related museum based in North Dakota. This museums showcases many historic aircrafts of which about 90 percent of them are still in flying condition. It also has a full-scale replica of the famous Wright brothers’ Flyer.
The Swedish Air Force Museum is situated in Linköping, Sweden. It showcases airplanes from the early part of the 20th century to the contemporary Saab 39 Gripen (JAS39) are displayed in the museum. It also hosts a Saab 39 Gripen simulator.
