I'm nearly 14. i don't know the answer to your question, i just started liking airplanes recently. my classmates hate me too, trust me i nkow how you feel! i'm not considered cool because i don't talk constantly about sex like they do and swear alot (i only do sometimes) they are very sick and do the dumbest things. they always tease me about it. i hate them so much i didn;t even go to my graduation! i go to high school in the fall. i did win the drama award out of all the graduating students, so at leats that part is good. are your classsmates disgusting too? it's nice to tal to someone who understands what it's like to be rejected by classmates!
luv from
libertybird ( just call me Brandy, it's my real name)

I fly a 1959 Cessna 150 in my spare time, and Cessna 206's and 207's for work. Both types were built from 11960's to 1970's. My advice is, don't worry about it. No matter how advanced aircraft get in the future, there will always be simpler, better airplanes in the background to fly. Aviation hasn't changed that much in 100 yrs. I don't think anything very drastic is planned before you are old enough to fly. Enjoy them and have fun. That is 60% of flying.

A good landing is one you can walk away from. A GREAT landing is when you can use the plane again tomorrow.

Sky,
Don't worry about what they say. You have to earn respect. I got a lot of that kind of stuff when I was growing up. It's totally retarded. Remember, though, what goes in must come out. If you don't want to be involved with that stuff, don't hang with people who are. Garbage in, garbage out. It's easier to go with the flow, but it takes guts to swim upriver. I once heard a Rastaman say, "If you don't like the way the river flows, shut off the water." Do something about your surroundings. Earn their respect. It's hard, but it's best. Good luck man.
