Has anyone here heard of the CAP? we are the Auxillary of the United States Air Force, preforming 3 missions for it:

Emergeny Services- With more than 600 corporate aircraft, and 2000 member owened in use nation wide, we fly 80% of Air Force search hours. In addition to SAR (search and rescue), the Civil Air Patrol assists in disaster relief, damage assesment, counter drug reconnisence, and other emergwncy mssions,

Aerospace education- We educate the communiity on airplanes, space, and US aerospace power.

Cadet Programs- the country's oldest youth leadrship organization, the CAP Cadet Program teaches it cadets Leadership via a mock Air Force squadron.

The Civil Air Patrol is the place for patriotic Americans, military, retired miliatary, or other. If you are in the military, and join the CAP, chances are you will get your retired rank.

Ya i heard of it...there was a big debate about em on this site not long ago.

It was just an aurument/debate whether CAP's was just a wannabe organization or the real thing...I think it is still on flight trainig if you wanna read it.
