Question

Is a Piper Cherokee capable of carrying 6 passenger? If not what small airplane can? thanxxxx.

I guess you could stuff six people in there as long as it isnt to heavy............... But they usually have a four place intercom and four seatbelts.

Thanks Red Beaver. But what type of smaller aircraft would accomodate six people or is the list to long? If so can you name just a few models? Thanks again.

Hey sp2rcer,
There is a Piper that seats six passenger and it is a single engine airplane.
Piper's Cherokee Six 260 and 300. PA32 Cheokee Six would become Piper's six-seat building-block design. Born in 1966 as Piper's low wing answer to Cessna's 205 and 206. To give you an idea on price 1977 Piper Cherokee Six 300 average used price $92,000 with a service ceiling of 16,250 ft. and a useful load of 1578 lb, cruise speed of 151 knots at 75%, engine Lyc. 10-540k, fuel capacity of 84 gal.
