Question

Hi friend,
I always wonder that on the Boeing E-3 Sentry AWACS's rear fuselage, there is a radome. I know when the radar works, it will eject radio rays to scan surround. But will that kind of ray will affect any crew in that plane? Will they have the radiation or any side effect of the radio ray?
Thank you,
Tomcat
