Waaaaaaa, and I'm not going to ever speak to anyone named Brad again because some guy on the internet doesn't agree with me.

Thanks, Brad. I was a RIO for 4 years, but thanks to you I'm finally learning the capabilities of the US and threat weapon systems. I wish you'd been around when I was on cruise, because I kept wanting to run away whenever we got intel that there were Iraqi MIG-25's airborne. If only you'd been in the cockpit with me, things would have been different.

If you'll read back above, I never said anything about any Russian aircraft weapon systems being better than the F-18. I merely stated a fact, which is that it doesn't matter what the range of your BVR weapon system is if the other guy sees you / ID's you first and is in range to kill you. If you feel like arguing that, please call someone at Top Gun and tell them that everything they've been teaching for 30 years has been wrong.

schlag RIO: First I want to appologize its not beneath me to admit when I am wrong but my post about you and not reading the book was wrong and that comment was beneath me and made when I was having an extremley bad day and shouldnt have been typing anything. I normally dont get upset when someone disagress with me but the correction of the typo was a little picky but probably deserving. Anyway I will agree to disagree with you on the issue and leave it at that. My assumption about you was wrong also from your posts either the way they were written or my understanding of them I was taking you as another American aircraft basher in here, I am sure you will even admit there are enough of those posting in here so my appologies there also I just disagree on how the F-18 was braught down. I dont feel the need to call "Top Gun" again assuming they have more improtant things to do than settle a petty argument like ours.
