I don't know which one is better. But, I will be attending ERAU in the summer. I will be studying Aviation Business Administration, and Airline/Airport Management. Peace.

Exclamation Riddle is good but also sucks

Hey, I hope I can answer some of your questions. Before i start off, let me tell something to this I_HATE_PILOTS guy.
How about you morons, that call yourselfes Engeneers, eventho you didn't even finish a semester, most of you. "Hey, I am an engeneer !" That is all I hear of you wannabes, and this with the glasses is a symbolical thing, you won't understand. How about me making fun of you and your stupid TI-83 SPecial upgraded calculators. I know there are many pilots that think they're the hit, but what about you guys? You're not in Harvard or MIT or CalTec so easy up and wait a couple more years before calling yourself ENGENEERS.

Now to you, a simple definition of Riddle. Academic department is good. I would say 8 out of 10. Foodwise etc I would ay 6 out of 10. Dorms I would say 4 out of 10. It is too loud and people don't really follow the study hours. Other than that there are many cool clubs so I'd give that 8 out of 10. As soon as you don't join some sausage party frat.

About flying. DO NOT FLY HERE !!!!!!!!! I am out, I do my major here but I fly at another fligth school. Riddle lies a lot about flying. In their magazines and webpage you see all these airplanes and you name it but once you're here, you get to fly averagewise twice a week. Plus it is sooo heck expensive! 1.5 hours costs like 240 $. You going to spend like 8000 $ for your private. Plus, it is not true that RIddle is the best flight school. There are good and crap instructors. Plus the fliht department is RUDE, they give you no second chance, plus the system is very bad because you always have to wait till 5 pm to find out whether you have a flight next day. Look, I suggest, if you study here you must have :

Own apartment
Own Motorcycle (Parking here is ridiculous and lousy! tway to many cars, people fighting for spots)
Join some club like the sky diving or whatever
Fly off campus
If you're interested in aviation do Aerospace Studies
That would be it...

Have a nice one, I hope I could help you out

How about save yourself $20k and go to a flight school and buy some lessons.

NO-ONE gives a damn where you got your pilot's licence from!!!!

When you apply for a job, if you have the hours, and have flown similar types, you get an interview. If not, it doesn't matter where you went to school. At all.

Get a licence, get a crappy job and build time. Get a commercial licence, and go looking for small outfits, because you're NOT going to get a good airline job right out of school anyways.

Instead of having mummy and daddy pay tens of thousands of dollars for years of school, why don't you just get a commercial licence and GET A JOB. You can build just as many or more hours AND GET PAID FOR IT. So when your buddy is finished his course and looking for any job he can get, you already have more flight time, practical job experience, references, and you've been getting PAID proper wages while he's been PAYING to fly.
