Best Aviation/Pilot Schools??

Hi - I'm new here...I'm looking to begin a career as a pilot and was wondering if anyone had any input as to what schools are the best to become a commercial pilot? I've requested info from dozens of schools, but at this point, I'm so early on in my research, that I'm unsure of which ones I should weed out immediately versus which schools I should put on the top of my list. Any suggestions? Help please! I'm looking to begin school fall 2008 if that makes a difference.
