I'd just like to add, for the record, that GA a/c are, on average, much safer than larger "safer" commercial turbine a/c. Fact is, you're more likely to walk away after cracking up in a Cessna than being carried away after a run-in with, say a 727. Survivors in large a/c incidents are remarkably few and far between for all the precautions taken. Check out http://www.ntsb.gov and read through some of their incident reports, they're very enlightening. Ciao.

A good landing is one you can walk away from. A GREAT landing is when you can use the plane again tomorrow.

Here are the interior plans i have for the airplane..let me know how you guys feel bout this alright

-YEllowish white leather seats
-Carpeted floor,colour-in between black and grey..under passenger seats, the carpet will be of fake fur that is gonna be soft so passengers can feel comoftable with their feet on soft material..walking lane, the carpet will be of same colour but jus the conventional one like all other airlines.
-Most economy class have only an estimated space of bout 10cm for a person of height 175cm(from the knee to the back of the front seat)..mine would have about 20-25cm space which is 10-15cm more than conventional airlines
-the rest i dont wish to reveal yet..hehe...just in case others copy..
So hows all that?..cos i want my airline to treat every customer like a king or queen..haha..cos i understand how most economic class people feel when they fly so now ill do something and make them enjoy flying again.

When you "dry lease" and aircraft you are only leasing (or renting, if you prefer) the aircraft itself.

When you "wet lease" an aircraft a crew is provided along with it (eg. a flightcrew - captain, first officer and flight engineer if applicable) and the airline/company which you have leased the aircraft from provides ground services such as maintenance etc.

At least that is how I think it works, I only found out about it a couple of months ago in an aviation magazine.

One other thing: it has been found that a majority of persons aged between 18 and 60 prefer smaller companies (such as airlines operating light aircraft) and tend to trust them more than the larger companies operating jet equipment.

wau i never knew that..so its better i start with smaller jets?...hmm good thing i was thinking of that too...cos i had this other idea to start an airline that offers private services...small business jets and all tt..so people have to call in to get the service...and it will be affordable...or maybe i should start a commercial airline with small jets?...thanks for your tip about majority trusting smaller companies etc...well i wanna make it a multi-million dollar company..so thats gonna be a challenge..how do u noe bout this anyway?

Well, partly because I read a lot of magazines and books on aviation and because my father is in the industry - he works for Airservices Australia; they maintain much of the radar equipment at the airports Down Under.

the logo and name for the 'future' airline is now ready...i got it laminated jus to be safe..haha..anyway,i have been working at the airport for 2weeks already as a baggage handler...at first we got the easy part then after tuesday this week, i was sent to the Ram area to do unloading and loading of luggages and cargo from the planes and the worst part of all,the company i work for handles airlines that use mainly small planes like the boeing 737-300 and Airbus A320 and some big ones like the B777-300 and MD-11 etc but those come very seldom..and its so tough man..the small compartment in the small planes is so hot and loading the bags is exhausting..but it was a gr8 experience...and now im thinkin of quiting..its to tough..ppl all tell me that the Ram area is nothing for a 17yr old like me..anyway back to the real topic, can anyone come up with a great design for the aircraft painting? the fuselage(is this the correct spelling?)..but u migh need the tail-fin logo first right?..how do i start a virtual airline?..could u lead me with the steps and the sites to go to please?...

hey im back ...
ill help out with the fuselage design if you can send blanc drawing of one...
oh yeah dont forget to send the logo and everything !...
i was just thinking a couple of months ago how expensive maintaining large a/c is , i was thinkin of leasing or buying a small private jet and then instead of max capacity have it at half capacity with bussness passengers only it would be better and make sure you take a good study of the places you fly to so you know who and where you'll be flying...
gotta go bye
