Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association Expo

For next year, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (“AOPA”) will be held at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, Connecticut on October 4-6, 2007. Attendees from the 2006 show numbered a record high 12,973. The 2007 AOPA Expo promises to be just as popular. Hundreds of exhibitors will be at the event displaying the latest aviation products and services where you can see the latest aircraft and products that you’ve been hearing about, and experience them up close.

Also take a peak under the cowling or have a seat in the cockpit while you see airplanes in a wide range of colors and sizes. Featured airplanes will be there and some with glass cockpits, and antique biplanes, amphibious floatplanes, very light jets, cargo aircraft, and much more. Speak directly with the owners and learn everything you always wanted to know about your favorite aircraft. The Expo provides a wonderful opportunity for current aircraft owners and enthusiasts to consider aircraft as investments or pilots looking to upgrade their plane’s equipment. This AOPA Expo is definitely the place to shop.

Special activities include listening to aviation experts speak on issues of aircraft ownership, safety, medical issues, and airplane maintenance. Listen to panel discussions by industry leaders as they debate the latest issues that will affect pilots and airplane owners. Some of the notable past speakers have included representatives from the FAA as well as the President of AOPA. During the Expo, the AOPA pays tributes and presents awards to those they recognize for having dedicated their lives to aviation.

More than 100 aircraft are on display at AOPA Expo — everything from the newest very light jet to experimental light sport aircraft.
