This biennial airshow is an opportunity for more than a thousand civilian and military aerospace manufacturers to introduce new aircraft and aviation-related products to potential customers. Billions of dollars are exchanged at this airshow, which makes this a unique and high profile event.
Not to be outdone by the trade show exhibitors, the Farnborough Airshow wows the crowd with static displays of more than 100 airplanes and in-flight demonstrations by numerous aircraft. Previous performances have included MiGs, the Airbus A380-800, Spitfires, and the Royal Air Force Falcons Parachute Display Team.
