Cable Air Show 2012

Each year Cable Airport hosts a fantastic air show. This year spectators will be able to view a Cessna 172, 1941 Tiger Moth, Cherokee, Robinson 22 Helicopter and 1930 Standard. Stars of the show will include Rob Harrison (The Tumbling Bear), Frank Donnelly (DrD’s Ole time Aerobatics), Doug Jardine, Sammy Mason, and Clay Lacy. Other activities taking place are involve the Corona RC Club, skydivers, flight demonstrations and a car show.

Nellis Air Force Base – Aviation Nation 2011

Aviation Nation at Nellis Air Force Base is Nevada’s largest free public event. This year the event will celebrate 70 years of air power in Las Vegas, dating back to the gunnery school opened at Nellis in 1941. Headlining the event will be the US Air Force Thunderbirds, along with other military air demonstration teams and civilian air performers. The event focusses on America’s aviation history and celebrates the efforts of the country’s military forces. About 100 aircraft of all types will be on display. In addition there will be a number of food, beverage and novelty stalls.

Warriors and Warbirds Air Show

Hosted by Warriors and Warbirds Inc. and City of Monroe, the Warriors & Warbirds Veterans Celebration and Air Show has become a massive event, honoring those who served. The Air Show takes aviation enthusiast back in time to major events such as D-Day and Pearl Harbor. There will be fascinating static displays by the North Carolina Vietnam Helicopter Pilot’s Association and North Carolina National Guard. Historic military aircraft will take to the sky, offering unforgettable performances. Included in the program is the WWII Hangar Dance on Saturday, daily Vets Program, and a variety of air show vendors.

San Francisco Fleet Week Air Show

The San Francisco Fleet Week boasts a full schedule of events. Highlights of the show include the Blue Angels, the Canadian Snowbirds the Parade of Shops, Navy in Space Exhibit, ship tours, the 140th Annual Italian Heritage Parade, Disaster Preparedness Exhibits, and the 2nd Annual Fleet Week Band Challenge. The mission of the 2011 event is to focus on Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response, at the same time as honoring members of the Naval Services.

2011 Greenwood Lake Air Show and WWII Showcase

The 2011 Greenwood Lake Air Show and WWII Showcase will feature a number of great aviation performances by the likes of Kendal Simpson, Jane Wicker Air Shows, Kevin Russo, Kirk Wicker and North East Raiders Demo Squadron. A number of interesting aircraft will be on display, such as the L-39 Albatros, Stearman, B-25, F-4U Corsair, Nanchang CJ-6 and others. The Greenwood Lake Air Show bring history to life with a number of reenactment groups attending this event. Be sure not to miss this tribute to the aircraft of WWII!

RAF Cosford Air Show

This is one of Britain’s top aviation events, filled with fun and excitement for the whole family. Visitors will be able to view a number of military and civilian aircraft in action, including the Royal Air Force Red Arrows Aerobatic Team. On the ground there will be a fun fair, RAF Museum, static aircraft displays, craft fair, Sunday market and military exhibitions. The 49th Paris Air Show will see majoy international aviation industry players gathering to view and showcase the latest in technological innovations. The opening four days of the event will be exclusively for industry members, whilst the following three days the general public with be welcome to explore the show. The 15th Annual Indianapolis Air Show has much to offer visitors.
