The Cutting Edge Singapore Air Show
The Singapore Air Show, which takes place every two years, is scheduled for 19-24 February 2008 at the New Changi Exhibition Centre, Changi North, Singapore. This prestigious event is Asia’s largest aerospace and defense show and one of the world’s top three air shows. Hosted jointly by the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore and the Defense Science & Technology Agency, the Singapore Air Show serves as a meeting place for the military and civil aviation community to benefit from opportunities for marketing and networking on a global scale. The Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome was the dream and vision that Cole Palen had when he first bought farmland near Rhinebeck Village, close to New York, in 1959. His love for aviation drove him to start one of the world’s finest collections of aircraft, vehicles, motorbikes and engines. As a pilot, no one understood the time and effort that went into creating some of these airplanes better than Palen.

The Royal Air Force Museum is the only national museum in Britain which is completely dedicated to aviation. The museum is consists of two separate sites: Hendon in North London, and Cosford in Shropshire in the West Midlands. Excitement Surrounds the Volandia Project
The inauguration of the “Volandia” project was held recently with a view to it being completed and open to the public in 2010. On completion, this project, undertaken by the Museum of Aeronautics Foundation, will be the largest park and museum dedicated to aeronautics in Italy. The site for Volandia is the former workshops of the renowned aircraft manufacturer Caproni, situated next to the Malpensa Airport in the area of Lombardy in the Varese province of Italy.
