Virgin Atlantic Airways to Help Answer All of Life’s Questions

Virgin Atlantic Airways will soon provide a new in-flight service for passengers. From the comfort of their seats, travelers will be able to text message any question to a company called AQA (it stands for Any Question Answered) and the customers will get a copy of their message within minutes. Answers will be displayed on each passenger’s seat-back TV screens – these are standard even in the economy section.

Standing Room Only for the Airbus?

Though Airbus representatives are denying it, reports have surfaced that the European-based aircraft company has been whispering in the ears of Asian carriers. Their secret? The idea of standing-room only for passengers in order to increase capacity, thereby stimulating profits. Passengers would be harnessed onto a vertical padded board. This would still conform to FAA regulations that each passenger be secured during takeoff and landing.

Extra Aircraft to Unveil New Extra 300SHP at Oshkosh

Extra Aircraft‘s newest aerobatic airplane, the Extra 300SHP, will be unveiled in the United States at this year’s EAA AirVenture Oshkosh to be held from July 24 – 30. The one of a kind aircraft was specifically designed for Goulian and will feature a 350HP Thunderbolt, Reno 580 engine. The EA-300SHP offers better aerobatic performance than its predecessor, the Extra EA-300S.
