Airports in Puerto Rico

You can explore San Juan, the capital, by car or you can get a hold of a walking map from the tourist office at the airport and explore all its historic sites on foot.
The Luis Munoz Marin International Airport is the main airport between the island Puerto Rico and America as well as providing many different domestic flights to varying towns and cities. The Luis Munoz Marin Airport is given an overall rating of 37th place out of all passenger airports in the United States. From the Luis Munoz Marin airport situated in an area called Isla Verde you will find an abundance of transport to the city or to Carolina, the town that Luis Munoz Marin Airport is located. At the airport, once called the Isla Verde International Airport, you are provided with a hotel if you need accommodation for the night before you continue on your travels. There are also a variety of ATMs as well as a barber and beauty salon and a duty free shop to keep you entertained.

This relatively small airport made up of 1,600 acres and has one of the longest runways out of all the airports in the Caribbean. From the airport you are given a variety of transport choices either a taxi or bus to get into the city or a rental car giving you a chance to explore Aguadilla and surrounding areas.
